Jannis Hermanns

I founded the project in winter 2002, Sterling Hughes very soon joined in, and serendipity started to grow. It was called "jBlog" initially, but I eventually found another blog tool carrying that name at sourceforge, so Sterling Hughes made up the new "Serendipity". Originally I only wanted to make an easy to use blog software, so my (at that time) 12 year old sister can write a diary for me to read, since she lives in Berlin and I used to live in Augsburg.
